Add to your home screen
Get Macha on your phone
Macha works as a web app, so there's nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your home screen instead and it opens just like any other app, with its own icon, and no address bar in the way.
Make sure you're in Safari
You're already on the right page. This only works from Safari, though, not Chrome or an in-app browser (like the one inside Instagram or Gmail). If you got here from one of those, tap the "···" or browser icon and choose "Open in Safari" first.
Tap the Share icon
It's the square with an arrow pointing up, usually at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, or at the top next to the address bar on iPad.
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
It's in the list of options that appears after tapping Share. You may need to scroll down a little to find it.
Tap "Add"
Macha will appear on your home screen with its own icon. From then on, just tap it to open Macha, the same as any other app.
Make sure you're in Chrome
You're already on the right page. This works best in Chrome. If you got here from another app's built-in browser, tap the menu icon and choose "Open in Chrome" first.
Tap the menu icon
It's the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
Depending on your version of Chrome, you'll see one or the other in the menu. Either one adds Macha to your home screen the same way.
Tap "Add" or "Install" to confirm
Macha will appear on your home screen with its own icon. From then on, just tap it to open Macha, the same as any other app.
Macha is currently a web app so we can get it into your hands sooner, while the full native app is built. Everything works the same, your check-ins, your roadmap, your data, it just opens from your home screen instead of an app store. Once it's added, Macha can also send you reminders to check in each day, the same as a downloaded app would.
